The Regency: Auraria's Student Housing Community
We are very excited that you have chosen The Regency community for your student housing in Denver. We've created these notes to assist in guiding, as well as informing, you and your family..
Activities & Programs
The Regency offers a variety of programs and activities each month for you to get to know other residents and socialize. These events are advertised throughout the building on posters, signs, newsletters, flyers, and Facebook. We also use text messages to inform you of any important events. Additionally, your students' Community Assistant is an excellent resource for information and events both on campus and within The Regency community.
Community Assistants (CA)
Each floor is assigned a specific Community Assistant. The primary role of these student staff members is to build community and enforce policy. They are a great resource for you and can help with any concerns or questions that you may have. We hold a Meet & Greet the first Saturday of every semester. Make sure you attend to meet all the CAs and Management staff and find out important info that will make sure stay enjoyable! Additionally, there is a CA on Duty within the building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can call them for any concerns about their room, noise or after hour concerns.
Transition & Roommate Issues
Moving into a student housing community is a new experience for everyone. We encourage you to utilize our online RoomSync tool to choose your roommate. If you don’t by June 1st, our Leasing staff will assign you a roommate. Even the most outgoing and excited student may have some adjustment issues to life at The Regency. We encourage you to get involved, meet others and make good choices about life on your own. If you have a roommate, and you need help communicating or resolving different living styles, please talk to your Community Assistant or with the Director of Student Life.
